Dear Special Friends,
Special Ministry News Update . . .
Sometimes I wish you could have been with me a few weeks ago when I was in Budapest, Hungary and Ljubljana, Slovenia. Some of the people I was with Slovenia were some key pastors, Matjaz and Magdalena. We helped them start a church back in 2016 and they have since started another church.
It was great to hear the stories first hand from them about the churches and the impact on the community. They also oversee the TEEN CHALLENGE in Slovenia, which help people overcome addictions from drugs. Amazing stories of so many changed lives.
Matjaz, the Pastor also had an amazing story of coming to Christ, as he was a Slovenian Police officer and a part of the SWAT Team.
These are just some of the stories of the impact we are helping national leaders make in Eastern Europe.
In a few weeks I will once again be in Hungary and Poland meeting with more pastors and leaders and helping them reach their countries with the Gospel. (See more on Poland below.)
This year we will once again help these national leaders start at least SEVEN new churches. Always exciting. . .
Special Family News Update . . .
WE ARE LEAVING A LEGACY … OF THE LIFE WE LIVE. . . ALL OF US DO . . ,
One of the greatest joys of our “getting older” and being married for over 45 years now, is being with our grandkids, (FIVE for us) and just sitting back and watching them play and laugh and get into “trouble” and enjoy life as a child.
They have no real worries, knowing their Mom and Dad are taking care of them and never far away.
We can’t help but think back to when we were in our 20’s and began having our babies. It always brings a smile on our faces. In the coming days we will welcome our sixth grandbaby as our youngest daughter Audrianna is have another little girl.
As we talk to Audrianna, she is going through the same things we went through 40 years ago, always tired, changing little diapers, going to doctors appointments, lack of sleep, and trying to figure out why the baby is crying and feedings.
They live in Mooresville, North Carolina, just north of Charlotte. Brenda will fly up there for a week to help her in so many ways, mainly taking care of their other daughter Montana Jane, who is about 18 months old. She will have her hands full taking care of and trying to keep up with the little toddler and TOTALLY LOVING IT.
So, as we continue our ministry as missionaries and all my travel, never far from our minds are our kids and grandkids. That’s part of our “Ministry Legacy.”
Our “Ministry Legacy” also is what we do in Eastern Europe to expand the kingdom of God. We love our lives and thank you for helping us do all we do.
Poland – An Amazing Nation of 37 million…
This month I will once again be in Poland, one of my favorite nations in that part of the world.

My first trip there was back in 1995 when we were living in Moscow, Russia and took a train to Warsaw and spent 5 days there and fell in love with the people and the whole country.
The first church we helped start in Poland was back in 2001, 25 years ago. Since that time we have seen over 40 more churches started in all parts of the nation.
I never tire of meeting with these key Polish leaders we work with and hearing their amazing stories of how God is working in people’s lives.
There is not revival happing in Poland and starting a church sometimes can be a great challenge. A typical church is between 30 and 60 people and most towns do not have an evangelical type of church in them.
But in the midst of this there are people who are coming to Christ. We feel grateful to be a small part of helping these amazing pastors start churches and work alongside them.
